End of the year and 2023 comes

Ah last i never thought of have come this far to see the end of 2022 anyways with christmas now ending and we're on the holiday break and heading into 2023, there has been some good some bad and some were rough i'll admit to it. I mean we are going through some inflation with the prices and interest going up and up which had made things look bad and rough for us all and it hasn't been good. I'm not gonna to name this down and since we are dealing with covid that still hasn't talk about but those of us are aware of the circumstances. But this may feel like a christmas message something like that it's not, since the beginning of 2022 we have seen a lot of trouble events with the invasion of ukraine that started and still raging on and nearly a year since it has begun but i remind mostly upset about and no signs of it stopping and cause of that the prices and interest raising and never stopping maybe of covid or the government or world leaders who knows i'm not gonna get into that. 

With 2023 coming closer and closer there are events coming whenever they are good or not, i'm not gonna to predict of what's to come however i can be afraid or concern of the coming weeks and months if it's bad i'm not gonna be good and lately this year i have developed self esteem and anxiety issues which result of me feeling unwell not attending anything new and avoid contacts and have to seek therapy for help. But i did work and enjoy the money and felt bad of never using it for my comics but at least i have enough money and pay an artist for my work and i hope my comics gets published and later on i might be a show of it and then do another show not the first one, instead more like Rwby take on it and since i have developed the characters and write down scripts and my editors look at it for better improvements and grammers, considering that RWBY has been nothing but a disappointment with it's writing characters and how the series could have been different because the problems were started, check Fixed Rwby from Celtic Phoenix who's done it well and i think i could use that for my own Rwby maybe i might do a story behind my own rwby style. And i have been annoyed of it's fanbase that's been nothing but appealing to the shippers and trash talking of the fans and nor respecting the creator's work even how they interact on twitter with memes and tweets especially the voice actors and destroying it. With that being said and i have done my own work of comics and series so they're likely to start next year maybe i don't know. 

Also with the passing of Kevin Convory this year it's been hard for me and Gilbert gutfield was sad to hear of his passing this year back in april. Thank you Kevin for voicing Batman even though i heard your voice in the Arkham Games and watching Batman the animated series Batman Beyond and Justice League cartoons as a kid i really like kevin convory as batman and the way how he describle bruce's pain as Batman and the way he has to go through, the news was hard for us all and the dark knight himself can rest at peace and gotham is safe, We have to seen people passed away it's been hard and also this year of the month is 100th birthday to Stan Lee who also passed away back in 2018 and now it is his birthday and just passed by. 

We did lost Aaron Carter who many of you know to be the brother of Nick Carter from the backstreet boys and Aaron Carter would actually have his song Leave it up to me in Jimmy Neutron Movie i remember seeing that music video when i was 8 years old and seeing him on the screen was awesome but it's really sad to hear of his passing and his struggles with his health and what was going on between him and his family as hard but his brother love him, rest in peace aaron carter. Even Jason Frank David who play the green ranger in the original power rangers show passed away of suicide this was hard news to come across that he was also a matial artist too and his friends those who knew him respect their loss for the passing of the actor and i get why kids back in the 90s really like power rangers even though i never really like the shows but i respect them for liking something they grown from childhood.

It's also been 20 years of Spider Man from Sam Raimi, and Minority Report. 30 Years Anniversary of Batman Returns which oh boy it's a Christmas Movie. Batman the animated series. With this being the final post of the year and i guess i better schedule than just late, i look forward of what 2023 will bring to us. I do plan to update any of the posts or make new ones with new details or to make sure that i didn't miss them in case. Also it's been one year since Spider-Man No way Home came out and wow seems like it's the best mcu films and also Spider-Man movie i look forward seeing the new Spider-Verse 2 where it has suprises coming for the film.

Elf (2003 film)

Oh Elf i'm not gonna lied here i have a soft spot on the film i remember watching it when i was around 6 years old and it was when i discover Will ferrell who i can't help but remember watching the movie at that time. It's one of those classic Christmas movies so i'm gonna give it a go. 

The movie begins with Buddy who's in a orphan and it's christmas eve and he seeks his way inside of santa's bag and live his life as a elf in Santa's Workshop play by Will Ferrell however he isn't working well in the workshop and his talents aren't being useful, his adoptive father papa elf (played by bob newhart) tells him that he was adoptive and explains to him that his dad live in New York City the film explains that his biological mother and father put him in adoptive and his mother died sometime after he was born the film does explain it. Buddy left his goodbyes to Santa and the elfs and made his way to New York. He reaches to New York and Empire State Building he does meet his dad played by James Caan his dad is Walter Hobbs who's a children publisher and works for greenway pass  who doesn't take too kindly to his family and doesn't really cared about them only himself, but he doesn't take him too kindly and dismissed him and thinks buddy is some man-child playing as a elf and raise from the north pole and doesn't believe him. eventually he would meet his stepmother emily hobbs played by Mary steenburgen and half-younger brother michael hobbs played by daniel tay. 

Buddy meets a worker while at the mall Jovie played by Zoeey Deschanel who works at the gimbels who's uninterested in the christmas season and also sings which buddy takes noticed of only to get caught. Buddy gets a job from his dad after putting in a role with the mailroom and makes some new friends with the workers and Buddy goes on a date with Jovie he finds love which he feels more happy but unfortunately, it doesn't go well for him at the end his father meets with Miles Finach another best selling children author who is mistaken for a elf which he beats buddy up and Walter has had enough of it. Buddy decided to leave for the north pole leaving a note for his family to read, however michael discover buddy's letter and tell his dad and walter has a change of heart and decideds to go search for buddy. Santa Claus is in Central Park and Buddy is search for his missing enger before the New York Park rangers find them they soon came across each other and Buddy and his dad reconcile with each other, trying to lift the christmas spirit Jovie would sing Santa Claus is coming to town and at last after escaping from central park the next christmas Buddy and his family celebrated christmas together and Jovie takes in singing lessons and now they're parents to their firist child. It's memorable christmas movie where it tells of what's it like feeling different realizing they came from and being adoptive and discovering your family roots attempts to reconcile and having the festival spirit. 

The film does take inspiration from Rudolph the red nose reindeer with the costume fitting the elves and the stop motion itselfs gives you the style of Rankin/Bass that was done in the 60s. Also the soundtrack itself reminds me from style of the grinch mostly the suite or medley that was from James Horner but the music for Elf is done by John Debney. 

Anyways then feel free to watch Elv this christmas if you can. Also more to come for tomorrow or Christmas Day. 

The Muppets Christmas

The Muppets Christmas is a classic Christmas special that we remember watching however it also was part of my childhood which I remember watching with my siblings growing up and its fun special so let's talk about the movie.

The plot starts with Michael Caine who plays Ebenezer Scrooge based on 19th century by Charles Dickens 1843 book, the film is set in 19th century London in the middle of Christmas season. Scrooge is a mean cold hearted and lonely moneylender who does not shared the Christmas spirit he doesn't accept his nephew Christmas dinner invitation, and tells his employees to e dismissed played by DR. Bunsen honeydraw and Beaker, tossed a wreath at a carol singing to Bean Bunny who was singing. After telling his employees that they won't be getting a day off on christmas day however he agrees with it and Scrooge leaves for home and the bookkeepers celebrate Christmas. His employee is Bob Cratchit is played by Kermit the Frog. 

While at his home he is encourge by his former business partners Jacob and Michael Marley who warned him that if he continues his wicked ways he'll be visit by three spirits of christmas. Scrooge is visit by the childlike ghost of christmas past who takes him to his childhood and early adult life that show his lonely school days. His early days he was in love with his childhood love Belle that he was in love with but belle left him after he chose money over her and led to him back to his bedroom. At Two'o Clock Scrooge meets the gigantic merry ghost of christmas present who shows the joys of christmas day as Mrs. Cratchit (played by Miss Piggy) and her family are having joy, but scrooge is made fun of his stinginess and general ill. Bob's Son who is ill tiny tim played by robin the frog and the ghost of christmas present fast forward and shows that tiny tim will likely died if the future does not change as they go to a cemetery, the ghost of christmas yet to come a tall silent cloaked figure takes scrooge into the future and show scrooge of a funeral of a unnamed colleague later on the ghost would take scrooge to see tiny tim has died and the crachits are mourning him after revealing scrooge was the one who died after revealing it all scrooge wish to change his ways. Realizing that it's Christmas Day Scrooge gleefully wish to surprise Bob's Family with a turkey dinner with bean dickens rizzo and the charity workers to spread happiness and joy around london. Scrooge reconciling with Fredd and Fozziwig and goes to the cratchit house. revealing to raise Bob's Salery and pay off his mortgage at last the neighborhood celebrate Christmas and Scrooge became a second father to tiny tim escape death and got well. 

This film is interesting and i like how it adapted a book from Charles Dickens and it's a good special and teaching the lessons of how to have joy and happiness for Christmas and to help people out not to make them feel left out. Michael caine fits well for the role of scrooge the cinematography is wonderful and the songs amazing and i like how the song brings the joy of it. 

My trip in ottawa

 So i know that i haven't talk much on this blog because i was dealing with life and celebrating christmas elsewhere i decided to why not talk about where i am right now which is currently i'm in Ottawa celebrating christmas with my sister her fiance and my nieces 

I was on my way to Ottawa and on the gotrain and heading for Via rail i had to make sure that i got everything with me cause if i forgot any item oh well next time i think. So i was there over half a hour ago i sat there while listening to music and videos. 

After arriving and searching for platform that goes to Ottawa i got there and realizing that i was on time, aftr getting on board found my seat and was making good time to arrive before making some stops along the way and had to wait before another train made it's way which delayed the train's arrival to Ottawa Unon Station. 

a few selfies but what the heck made a few talks with the passengers and had a great time talking with them wish i can see them but maybe i will, anyways we said merry christmas to each other and i head out to meet my sister's fiance a drove me back home and we had a nice talk.

After i arrive there and went out for Lone Star Restuarant and what i can tell you it was fun hadsome fries and chicken wings drink too not alchol. 

And my sister's fiance did this thumbs up with two glass of beer or whatever those are. I got here and now that i'm writing this down and have a great time of being here for the christmas season and ottawa since i was 14 years old. And i plan to talk of what i got for this christmas season, hope you're all having a good time. 

The WEIRD World of Jimmy Neutron

Ah Jimmy Neutron with the show turn 20 this year and last year the movie turn 21 years old and seeing the movie and show itself and then looking at the show itself is nostalgia i know i have spoken about Jimmy Neutron on my blog some were good others weren't so good now that i saw this video from Jordan Fringe who cover a lot of Jimmy Neutron on his channel and now did a 3-hour video from the videos he spoken the weirdness of Jn and i'm subscribe to his channel really like his work you should go check it out. 

Anyways just wanna drop this to celebrate 20 anniversary to Jimmy Neutron show and 21th anniversary of the movie itself hope it gets a fourth season come on nick. I realized that i made about 100 posts this year wow i did not imagine that. 

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)

Oh Rudolph The red nosed reindeer how special of a tv movie it was. I'm not gonna lied here i remember watching this special when i was little at the time of kindergarten as i got older i watch this one to very and it reminds with me to this very day. What also got my attention of this one is it's stop motion which the film elf got to use with combing both live action and stop motion together. It aired back in 1964 of december at that time and later on it would get it's sequels and direct to sequel which i'm not gonna talk much about on this post perhaps i might don't know much of the story itself. 

This film has good songs my favorite is we are santa's elves and we are just a couple of misfits those are my favorites of the movie and remember when being in kindergarten where couple of kids use to sing this song it was a fun time before school ended. 

 

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I know i haven't really spoken about any christmas specials but i wanna go over if not most of them but i do have favorite Christmas specials and since i'm going through a busy schedule with college but i do wanna talk of favorite Christmas specials which is How the grinch stole Christmas. 

I know since Dr Seuss books that get made into films but before it was once a live action film that was release back in 2000 way before the cat in the hat which was really bad but we don't speak of it, anyways so this film had Jim Carrey who did a amazing work as the Grinch and his performance as the character is genius. 

I saw this film back around 2008 on a vhs tape which i remember watching and that memory of watching it made me look back at it interesting film and story even carrey who stole the show and fits the grinch so well. 

Home Alone

Home Alone is one of those movies that i really like, my other sister saw it on tv it would be on television when i was watching YTV and Teletoon movie night around fridays and saturdays it's a great time of watching christmas movies and i'm talking about a moive of a boy who left home after his family left him and it's up to him to defend himself and home. It's timeless classic likable and feel good movie, with slapstick humor. 

Kevin mccallister is the youngest of the mccallister family who is left behind where his family fly for paris only for his mother to realized that they are missing one child. and is home alone and has the house for himself make his own meals and party time without his parents or his older brothers and sisters giving him a hard time. However he isn't free just yet Marv and Harry a pair of house buglars are robbing houses now that everyone is out for the holiday. After trying to fool them that he's not home alone but they get wiser and noticed his tracks. So Kevin is left to defend his home and set up the house with traps while his mom makes her way back home to get kevin back. 

The film works out it's balance of humor and it's writing of the film. Macaulay Culkin makes his performace as very likable and annoying whenever he's in front of the camera let's be real that these child actors intend to be hit and miss when they are cast in big budget movies. This movie is where i saw Joe Pesci who is known for swearing in his movies and he fits the role of a goofball henchmen even in this movie alone with humor, Harry however goofy and i'm not gonna lied but i like the part with the spider where it's on his face and him scream hilarious. I mean Harry is my favorite in this movie why not. Also John Candy great casting choice for the movie he was able to improvsing his lines and a great choice. The traps are the memorable in the movie when kevin adapt to his new live surrendngs and Kevin decdied to stand up for himself and i like how there's the basement and the creeping but weird frunace machine that is in the basement and kevin telling it to shut up and seeing the old man across the streets. The fil delivers of reconciliation forgiveness and the film is deeply one of those classics and can make you to remember that the world isn't just dark and gloom and better feel all good and remind positive. Also the traps in this movie would actually kill you so don't try them in real life especially in middle of christmas eve.

Is Die hard a Christmas Movie

This is my opinion that i want to say, i'm sure there are those who think or don't think that Die hard the first one is a christmas movie with those saying it is some saying that it's not. personally i think that it is a christmas movie cause why with one of the buildings set in a holiday season and the main character Bruce wills trying to save the vestial spirit from some crazy madmen that threats to kill people in the middle of christmas season. 

Personally it has been talk for years since the film first came out with those saying it's a bruce wills movie or it's just shane black's obsession with christmas, and the polls showing that it's not a christmas movie with peole saying no it's not or other sites keeping saying it is get over it i don't know but i just think it's a christmas movie whatever i'm not gonna say much of it.

Rooster teeth is at it's end

As the weeks drag on and the trouble production and poor conditions of Rooster Teeth have been exposed from Kdin Jamsen lately as the passed weeks have seen the animators leave the studio as they tell everyone that it's their final day at the studio and leave for other career opportunities. But i know what the company is going through losing their animators and employees but who cares and the studio is at it's end and just before it's 20th anniversary was ever going to happen or what they were planning next honestly i don't care because after they pander to the shippers (toxic) bees ignore real fans or the employees' life and problems as the studio becomes a shadow of themselves and maybe rwby getting can for better or worse eh who cares besides if the studio shuts down and rwby done for good later on the blame game look forward for the bees to be the victims and putting blame and it's gonna be a dumpster fire. 

All well maybe don't work for Rooster Teeth. As for rwby just pretend if someone else did it better and not some two nutjobs and the wooden cast (expect kara or some other cast members) 

My first character concept

Here is my character aka Cindy Flynn for the upcoming comic book series that i have been working on. I spoken with my art designer this is a first one. I try to avoid making this look like cindy vortex from Jimmy Neutron, expect some character designs coming sooner this month and next year. 

 

Assassin's Creed Unity nearly 10 Years

Boy Assassin's Creed unity almost ten years later and i still play the game and i know that the game still have problems well mostly it's gameplay and storytelling too. 

But besides that i still play the game a lot and replay the missions and often play other games and trying to give unity a break or so. And i really like Arno Dorian and the love interest between him and Elise de laserre is interesting mostly the chemistry i think, but i saw it in the trailer for Elise back in July 2014 which i really like the background music from woodkid i prefer the one from the trailer that was made for the game. 

Far from that and part of the marketing of unity which was wildpack with the game itself even the co-op gameplay back in the summer was really cool and i really like it at first which got my attention 

I really like how you can modified arno's outfit or get the outfits from Altair Ezio Connor Edward Shay and also other assassin's creed characters that was fine with and often wear them or in a replay mission. I didn't get to play unity back when it first came out and was about to get ps4 but unfortunately other things got in the way however i was able to read articles reviews of the game which detail the story right after rogue came out and sort of modern era but the game suffered with glitches which was likely rushed with and ubisoft had to fixed it right after the game's launch and were launching the dlc dead kings. But problems with Arno Dorian the way how he was in the game and not like Ezio or Connor despite some ac fans saying who was similar like Altair, and the game was criticize for the story gameplay glitches and characters. While i can agree with the problems of the game that it has gotten but i did do a artwork of Arno dorian for cyberarts which my art teacher(s) like and help with which i got from it was some higher than 50 or 60 i wish i have the papers but maybe lost forever. I was interest in the game as i was in AC Franchise that my friends notice a lot and not just that my teachers did noticed it when i wasn't distracted. 

For some time or so ago the game was criticized until later on it was look back around 2016 as fans begin to like the game sure i know there was footage of the cutscenes or the co-op missions and fans of Assassin's Creed were having a great time with it. 

Few Things i like about the game that i can talk about. 

1. Arno's Eagle Pulse and memory 

Arno Dorian has eagle vision but he has a different one that i think the other assassins don't really have which is Eagle Pulse and Memory think of photo graphic memory where he took lives of his enemies and manage to gain intel and memory from them of what they have done it's also dubbed as eagle pulse with eagle vision part of it with the bloodline from first civilization this is like something from a superhero type or supernatural. 

2. Details of the french revolution 

Right after the reign of terror and storming that happen in the game we get to see details of the french revolution as the game progress further and further, yet there was the storming of bastille when arno and pierre are in prison and escape through. Later on there is woman's march and the execution of king louis xvi in 1793. 

3. Customization 

The customization of arno was really fun and i don't mind of playing with other players joining in missions and did get to customization arno with the suit hood wrist arms belts boots and coats that can be helpful i had a hard time choosing which one mainly cause i want to have enough ammo for smoke bombs phantom or berserk in belts depending on how much it can have but i do like having them when i replay the mission and can't get enough of it. 

There are some custom layouts that i have done some do look like other well known assassins in the franchise and there are pretty of layouts some trying to be like my own's or Arno Dorian. 

This one here that you are seeing is Nikolai Orelov one of the lesser known Assassin in the franchise and saw a video about making Nikolai Assassin lookalike in the game and decide to make it myself. 

The three of them above has all of different belts boots chest forearms which i was going over and wanting have enough supplies whenever i was on a mission or replying a memory. these three are my favorites and go back to them from time to time. 

This one i decided to make cause when i was first made it which was reminds me of Sly Cooper blue and gold. Ruby Rose from Rwby and Modern take on Sly Cooper something like that. 

4. Favorite Mission 

Unlike most of missions of Assassin's creed, unity has cool missions i couldn't really decided for the story ones besides it's hard for me to choose aside from meeting napoleon and i look up on one of the co-op missions and you'll see here and that's when i through which one is my favorite one has to be  saving the girondists it ended up being my favorite mission from before i struggle mainly that i didn't have enough upgrades and once i improve on the missions and getting enough points and play girondists and went through either arno's improve outfits or the legendary outfits from other ac games but went with my own and when i beat the girondist mission it's one of my favorite missions in ac unity i wish i can mention the story levels but there's that much to say or choose which one. 

5. Co-Op 

Like how mutliplayer has change since the xbox 350 and ps3 came around in the 2000s ubisoft got to show us the co-op missions where you get to team up with other players. While this was on Playstation 4 and Xbox One the co-op missions does open with cutscenes as bishop tells you what your mission is and meet up with your allies. It can be hard mainly the woman's march which i had a hard time with that one. There was even ww2 level that i'm trying to find and nowhere i know it's in the game. I really like saving napoleon that i got the hand of playing through, the austrian conspiracy is one of them that i like saving an allied and use the colors of white and red to reassemble the other assassins like altiar and ezio that have that color too. I did also play with other players on these missions before around 2018. 

With that being said so i guess those are the ones that choose from the game and what i really like and i'm not a professional critic not gonna talk more of the game's history or the controversial surrounding the game i'm just giving this out but i still enjoy and play Assassin's Creed Unity despite it's problems and glitches it does have great graphic and gameplay but i know there are people who aren't fans of british accents or scottish or irish because its in france where they should have french accents but i'm not gonna divide into that. So it's one of my favorite games. 

P.S I got arno from the main character and use it with Sly-Arno or Slyarno i know it's hard to say. I notice Sly Cooper was in Paris France and also notice Assassin's Creed Unity is in France during the french revolution and also the two characters wear blue clothing and hood and the similarities to Assassin's Creed and Sly Cooper mostly the game play or how the c on each of the title or cane is odd but quite similar or how they have in common and so i got to mash up with Sly Arno and other names that i ratherly use.

Lately i have to deal with some videos that were hard for me to be on this site which was one of the pixar short films some of them had said to be unavailable which the owner of those videos made, but it's gonna take some time but as of the writing of this one i try to find any videos that can be available on my blog but the owners of the videos made them to be unavailable so it appears that i might need to download them or find them online which might take some time. 

Ezio becomes an Assassin Remastered

I upload an cutscene video from The Ezio Collection and this scene shows ezio becomes an Assassin well only his father's robes that he found in the chest that locates at the auditore house. Actually cool scene with a secret passage. 

Geri's Game (1998)

So i saw Geri's Game when i was little around 5 or 6 years old it was a bug's life vhs tape which i founded hilarious about seeing Geri playing himself without the glasses is comedy gold and the park itself looks empty but i couldn't help but like the music around it. 

My First Voice role

This is a late halloween video i'll admit to that but i auditioned for Rusty from Thomas the Tank Engine and it is based on The Railway Series or Railway Stories depending on how you call it as, i didn't know i got the role cause i never ask and so i voice rusty in this video and i know my voice seem quiet because a family relative was sleepy i wish i done this sooner but better luck next time.

Snow Is here

You readed the title and the snow is here in Ontario Canada and wow i can't even start that it's been snowing like crazy alot's snow on the roadway and wow did it took longer to install some snow tires and didn't have time to talk about it since the snow came very early like it did back in 2009 nearly 13 years later maybe 14 i guess i don't know for certain. 

But it's that time of year again and with Christmas just right around the conor and found some of these photos that i have before. 

These were the photos that i found and when there was a lot of snow to clear out that we have to use the snow blower to clean the roadway and solve the snow out of the driveway and the snow on the trees were looking very nice that even my mom took pictures of. 

The sun light came out and when it was not snowing too much when we didn't have to worry about too much of any snow storms. 

Here's the black and white photo of the other side i know that snow can be hard with roads being icy or cover in snow at least we can expect christmas the new year too also the area i'm at is likely gonna get a lot of snow.
