You probably know this or not but lego club maganize was one of those items that i remember having as a kid and really like doing if it was doing activities or collecting them all before growing out of it but not lego.
I first own a copy of it was back in Jaunary 2010 and saw Lego Atlantis at the front cover that was part of it i really like them that i didn't get any of the maganizes from the 2000s that i wish if i was seven years old back than i would have recevie a lego club maganize and get the same ones from 2010s.
I try to get Lego Club Maganizes as i can
September 2008-October 2008
This is one of the front covers promoting Lego Star Wars The Clone Wars where they promoted the first sets back in 2008 and the film too.
May-June 2009
Lego City set that were being promoted i didn't get this one but want to find it and read what the maganize was promoting at the time and on the front cover is the hunt for R2-D2 that the episode was based on and promoting it.
September-October 2009
Below with the hunt for R2D2 and Lego City and Bionicle on display too.
Here is Lego Atlantis set back in January 2010 and had Bionicle and other sets that is on and this is one of the sets that i managed to get and even the one below is four others that i had and still do.
May 2010-June 2010
Following that came Disney Prince of Persia during the promotion and Lego Star wars for a new adventure and Hero Factory that was coming sooner.
January 2011
Lego Ninjago i have a different magazine cover so this was published back in 2011.
July-August 2011
Then came lego alien invasion that have some figures from lego city sets not sure why but eh who knows didn't really thought about it but i went for it.
September 2012-October 2012
Lego City had a mining company on display too i thought it was pretty cool and would look over any new set that were coming.
Even this video that I saw before talks about what made it so awesome and all of the previews and sneak peeks from the magazines that tell us the upcoming lego sets and theme even had lego city. Marvel and DC were part of it like Man of Steel The Avengers and Iron man 3 between 2012-2013
But since then around November 2013 nearly ten years from now or maybe January 2014 i stop having lego maganizes as i was getting older in my teenage years i never really thought of it once more as i know that i didn't need them anymore but manage to have the lego club maganizes between 2010-2013 or 2014. But now that they would published for a final time in January 2017 although are still on but i remember these ones way differently.
Back in the 90s Transformers just finish it's g1 toyline and would try to rebrand it once again for the g2 toy line and the comics too which really didn't work and transformers was all time low. Transformers in Japan however had the g2 toyline was a direct sequel to G1 launch back in 1995 however a misconception that G2 started in america around 1992 before the toyline launch back in 1995 it instead was in their own continuity it had it's toyline storypages manga pages along with instruction manuals another manga special like the new battle made by Comic Bom Bom. But the toyline ended in 1995 and Takara continued on their own robot toy line the brave series.
However G2 it was false around 1986 some fans left the franchise and when the 2007 film came around they thought that G2 was the continuation of it even Pat Lee thought of this misconception before. While the original animated movie certainly marked a change from one "generation" of toys to another, along with some new design trends, the phrase "Generation 2" refers to a very specific franchise, marketed from 1992 to 1995. Years after the animated film had come and gone. Its relative obscurity probably contributes to the misattribution of the term, as Generation 2 marks a low point in popularity for Transformers as a whole.
Hasbro needed to keep the toyline alive and went for something else different that was animals but more like transforming animals instead of cars jets or anything like that before and went for Beast Wars Transformers and later on a show that made it's first airdate on September 16, 1996 and Ended on March 7 1999. But the show however wasn't that well received not the critics the fans of the show were unhappy with it with characters that didn't transformed into cars jets or objects they weren't fans of it with jokes like monkey truck etc. But it managed to get the fan's interest and enjoy the show and won over many viewers through fun, intriguing stories and generally high production values. Strong characterization, top-notch scripting and voice acting, and complex, overarching plot threads are among the reasons cited for the show's enduring popularity. Some of the show's mysteries and machinations still remain topics for fan debate decades after its conclusion. The show was a computer animation than using hand draw animation style from the 80s the studio behind it was Mainframe Studios that was responsible for the show.
Instead of the Autobots, there were the maximals led by Optimus Primal with him are Rhinox Rattrap Cheetor Tigatron Airazor Tigerhawk Depth ChargeDinobot Silverbolt. The Maximals are descendants of the Autobots.
Predacons descendants from the decepticons they are led by BW Megatron Blackarachnia Scorponok Waspinator Inferno (BW) Tarantulas Terrorsaur Quickstrike and Rampage/Protoform X Along with Ravage and the Ghost of Starscream who made a guest appearance.
They crash land on a prehistoric earth The planet is found to be rich in deposits of raw Energon, in such extreme amounts that it proves to be poisonous to both factions' robot forms, forcing them to take on alternate organic forms for protection until their robot forms are needed. Thus the robots take on the beast forms of recognizable animals including mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, dinosaurs, and invertebrates
It was also a Sequel/Prequel to Transformers G1 with nods from the cartoon and the g1 comic book likely with the ark the great war teletraan 1 starscream ravage the matrix optimus prime the first episode of the g1 cartoon arcee megatron Unicron and so much more that the show did. They also introduce Protoforms which would be used later in the franchise.
Now i have watch the show around 2008 at the time of the 10th anniversary of the show and while i have watch both the g1 cartoon and 2007 animated series and came upon the show i didn't hate the show and was use to computer animation and seeing how it reference the g1 cartoon i couldn't help but smile when watching it and seeing them on screen was joy. But the show didn't shy away from darker terrority like suicide horror and even one of the darkest episode like the tragic tale of transmutate even i felt that was a dark episode which steve has done a video of.
I hope everyone enjoy this post and i hope you had a awesome march break holiday.
Back in High School, i heard of Assassin's Creed novels that i didn't think of reading but later on in 2018 i got a hand of reading the novelizations of Ac 2 (Renaissance) Brotherhood Black Flag AC 3 (Forshaken) Unity Underworld and two Shao Jun Books that i am still reading. I won't tell much of the plot of them but they are like the game but with changes and differences to them and have their own stories too.
I did enjoy reading Brotherhood Unity and Black Flag cause of the details and plot in the books and work very differently from the games too one of the pages from black flag is in the game too when you are modern era and collect in some details of Edward Kenway. As for Shao Jun's books like the ming storm and desert threat, i am still reading them and so far far really enjoy them Renaissance Underworld and Forshaken, however, are good trying to read as much i can. i don't know if i plan to get more who knows anyways time to talk about shao jun manga books.
Manga Books of Shau Jun i have four of them and i really like them, especially how the manga art in Assassin's Creed looks incredible well i won't tell much of the plot it's available on bookstores so collected them if you can.
I been meaning to talk about this episode for a long time and i was about to talk about it but got very distracted with other things in life and would happen to talk the finale of The Clone Wars Season 5 where Ahsoka leaves the jedi order and what really hit me was the shot that i saw when she rejected of returning and walking out of the temple was a gut wrench moment for me and this was back in 2013 and watching season 5 episode before it's cancellation or end and hits me hard when i was facing a choice to leave a place that i had to go for and walk away. Who couldn't help but watch every episode of the clone wars i know i didn't watch much of it back than before seeing it once again maybe with the mandolore arc.
Yet this scene was heartbreaking in Star Wars Universe and those of watching were either crying and sad. Not just that but anakin losing his padawan was led to him turn to the dark side where the show take before revenge of the sith. I mean from watching the clone wars movie where ahsoka made her debut sure she had some problems with the fans but it wasn't until they fixed her in the show as it progress and having her mature to have her leave the jedi order. The shot of her leaving the jedi temple as she walks down the stairs hit me hard of remembering seeing the movie and show collecting lego sets and action figures was like saying good bye to our childhoods.
So i gotten some manga books of Rwby they are like reimagines of volume 1 and 2 i do have more manga books of RWBY i haven't yet readed these two and no i'm not being a critic i just find them quite interesting mostly the artwork or how it works out better in a AU than the show itself.
And for those not aware that i managed to read Red like Roses Mirror Mirror and the rwby manga too haven't read it and haven't readed book 3 as for book 2 i am still reading book 1 so here goes then.
I've talk of Beast Wars before but i couldn't help and want to share this video from Chris Mcfeely who's done cool research on Transformers it's history and topics he talks of and this one talk about the era of beast wars and how it is a direct sequel/prequel to the G1 Cartoon.
