Dinosaur (2000) Is underrated

Does anyone remembers dinosaur from Disney that was release in May 2000 well you're in luck the film itself has an interesting backstory. Starting with story ideas that they try to craft together before the finish product several storyboards and animation tests were made but it's gonna be hard for me to tell so here goes. 

The film talks of a young Iguanodon who is adopted by lemurs they survived a meteor strike that destroyed life around it and their home too thet would meet up with a huge pack of dinosaurs led by kron and bruton and searching for water, aladar would meet three other dinosaurs and the journey is hot and with no food or water they must make it or can they. 

The film is like surviving in the desert and finding water which i recall has been told before and i guess that the reason why it's underrated was likely due to critics at the time felt like it lacks originally or the story it's doesn't get a lot of recognition or praise but i find it to quite enjoyable and the film isn't just like Jurassic park it's more like survival sacrifice and taking risk whatever means necessary it doesn't feel like your average kid's movie there are risks needed and scenes that can be dark where Aladar is about to be eaten and his adoptive little sister Sari screams out his name which i remember seeing that part on Toy Story 2 Vhs tape before and never left my mind even when the raptors themselves that were about to attack Aladar and his family and the sounds they make give me chills and they were different from the ones on Jurassic Park. 

The soundtrack itself is made by James Newton Howard now i have mention the tracks in the movie that i already made on my other post before so from what i can say about the soundtrack itself it really is so beautiful but yet strong when you listen to the parts of the soundtracks and i recommended hearing it. 

So the film i saw this back in kindergarten when i saw the movie on previews from Disney and Pixar i did rent a movie of it from blockbuster and brought the dvd of it back in 2008 i think it was around spring or summer i recall maybe the fall perhaps it was at walmart and i remember buying dvds there before it was awesome back than there are games on the movie that i recall seeing and also learning about the dinosaurs as a kid i had a great time playing them and learning about them and had trouble with the cave game too that was really hard for me to get through and i know what happens in the end i seen the video before if only i can do it once more.
