Aaron Carter - Leave It Up To Me

It's gonna be a year after Aaron Carter's passing and i thought to share this video leave it up to me that was in Jimmy Neutron movie and a music video too on the dvd which listening to it give me a lot of good memory how i remember it before i got ready for school. Thank you Aaron we will miss you and this is one my favorite songs, rest in peace aaron.

This is gonna be pretty different but with the passing of aaron carter nick's brother gonna be a year soon i thought to share this video mainly ever since i listen to this song gives me memories. 

Fan Expo (Toronto)

Ladies and Gentlemen to anyone listening to this post i went to a comic con convention for this year after being away so long i couldn't help but wonder to talk about it while it's still happening or after the event i'm either writing this on my laptop or computer. So i left for toronto and meet up with my sister at toronto 

The trip was like over an hour or so to get to Toronto and i relax and listen to music as well. 

know it well-known guests were there and such as Frank Miller Vincent O' Dicent Hayden Christensen Matt Lanter James Arnold Taylor Ashley Eckein etc. So i arrive there and had trouble at looking for the time to see which one can i attend and there was a showing your comic book series that i want to but didn't got the chance plus i look around stuff there was cosplayers people and other things to explore around and see for myself. Took pictures of comic books from 60/70s to recent times and there were so awesome to see around. Cosplayers too and wow i want to take some pictures of characters that look so awesome but i only have not that much but hey it was my first time being there don't worry this is a first experience. 

Not only that there was swords on display although it was plastic nor real and thankful they were not sharpe either, my sister and i went around there were toys displayed too like Transformers star wars and etc. 

Action figures were there and masterpiece tf toys and studio series toys that i want to get i think it was thundercracker or beast wars toys like from the recent transformers movie that i want to see and wow were they over hundred dollars each.

But hey there was Frank Miller himself there signing comic books and got him to sign the Dark Knight Returns book so awesome. There was Jim shooter Joe Quesada and other comic book artist and writers but ah well i'll see them around even so much as i did said the same thing about the actors for Star wars plus there was the cast from the office scream and other genres that are there as well however there was a childhood hero of mine that i always wanted to meet and that was Peter Cullen. 

He was nice and polite and took my photo with me and i shake his hand as well peter like my hat too for the Autobots and he was even more nicer and we both said till all our one. It was a exciting moment for me and felt like i met the man who voiced optimus prime my sister hug me as well which turn out to be the best day of my life. 

I took pictures of shirts that was Bumblebee and Looney tunes but took a shirt of bumblebee. 

There was Daredevil and Engie at the place plus harley quinn fnaf batman aiden pearce you name it. 

Also while on my way out just before that there was a lot of places to look around and just on my way out there was everyone getting their pictures and autographics sign by celebrities and Jon Bernthal plus even more people went nuts and there was a huge line that you can see for yourself. 

There was Vincent d'onofrio and Charlie Cox which i want to meet but couldn't so all well i'll see them next time. Also the cast of Scream Star wars The clone wars Office etc. I twas a fun time being there and my first convention and got my comic book sign by frank miller and got my picture taken with peter cullen and that i say thank you fanexpo canada. 

The issues with Assassin's Creed

I never really talk much about Assassin's Creed but i know that i have spoken about the problems with some friends of mine and now that it's been 15 years after the first one was released and i guess it's a miracle. Ever since i got into Assassin's Creed when i was 13 years old after graduating and my life took on a path i came across Assassin's Creed wanting to know about it and the games that i use to play which was Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and later on in December 2013 i got to play Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag later on The ezio trilogy Kenway sage Rogue included and 3 even Unity it was when i got into history learning of the renaissance french revolution the seven years war american revolution industrial revolution ancient egypt the rest goes on of the events that i got into which i discover of and didn't mind and would learn about historical events and figures as i enter my teen years but around 2016 i took a break from the games and the franchise still play the games if not finding it boring well if i play the missions etc. Or play on free roam you name it however i would go back to the games in 2017 was i play the ezio collection unity and syndicate between Summer 2017 to Fall 2017 of July and November 2017. 

Later on i would get into the novels of the games expected for the first one or origins around 2018 but back in Christmas 2017 i did get to play Assassin's Creed Origins only for a bit but later in 2021 it was fun to play as well even exploring the background of the assassin brotherhood and templars. As i would get into the novels and the lore of assassin's creed a lot of people express their problems with the franchise regarding of the franchise like the killing off Desmond Miles How the modern story lacks of updating and always in the comics and no game set in modern era as fans of the game still don't want but some want it set in modern times like how uncharted watch dogs and lara craft are often set but explore of historical figures or events. 

The game still being produced by Ubisoft that made the game back in 2007 which was the first game set of the assassin-templar conflict set of thousand of years ago and the templars been playing the strings of behind close doors and responsible for it crazy i know but now in modern era 2012 and Desmond Miles is capture by Abstergo Industries who are run by templars and is caught in the conflict between the assassins and the templars, i'm not write about the story and the plot of the games but i'm sure you have readed it before but anyways with so many opporuntities that ubisoft have only to miss it a lot and never caring about the games or the fans only the money and not going into the other settings like Napolonical wars American Civil War World War 1 Japan China or other settings maybe around modern era which has been frustrating with and i can't even stress of how much patience or little patience i have with them and after in 2020 or 2021? some accusations regarding of female characters in the game itself or ubisoft which i'm not gonna get into feel free to research.

Modern-era setting is where mostly between sequences before you would interact with the people in modern era back and fourth you name it. The series demonstrated kind of cool but the animus is like vr setting that we have. But outside of the games is the modern-day setting first started in the first Assassin's Creed and would go on for the rest. 

Lately in Assassin's Creed we often heard of creative differences from the crew that are working on the project whenever they want to throw in an opportunity towards the gamers that they want but instead choose to ignore it and went on the opposite direction and not letting anyone like a co-director for changes right after the beta test and rush the game for release and didn't have time to fixed it yet everyone is having a hard time to have creatively only the director and executives who refuse to allow it whatever it's the maps and gameplay or any other ideas that they purpose on. I think that the series has a identity problem that they don't know what direction the series should try and not even taking risks only afraid and not wanting to piss off anybody they need to be responsible and take whatever risk if possible which is one of the problems that i have for the series even the narrative of the games, themselves is lackluster that they go backwards likely how the story is being handle of so call professionals who are overseeing the franchise and making sure everything is right on track aside from the troubles that have happen at Ubisoft. But regardless of the series and creativity that they have either try to find new ways to improve themselves or unsure of the moment. 

So now that the games are showing no signs of slowing down with the release of mirage coming this year and info of the game looking to be positive whatever or not it's a sign that ubisoft is changing we don't know or i don't know but with them release more games coming soon that i have spoken and saw back than let mirage be release and we can see for ourselves. 

Favorite Playstation games

I was playing my playstation vita where sly cooper was on mainly the collection than i was playing ratchet and clank onmy ps4 than that's where it hit me i remember other playstation games which was spyro the dragon ty the tasmania tiger and crash bandicoot thise games games were awesome on ps1 and ps2 when i was a kid oh man. 

Okay so i been trying to talk of ratchet and clank sly cooper and other games but with changes going on and scheduled other posts for this year or next year that i'm hoping to talk about and i couldn't help but talk of playstation games and had a connection to them. 

Sly Cooper 

You know this i got this game around 2006 after my cousin introduce the game to me when i was six years old and the name sly cooper stick in my mind and got the name from, slyarno which i really have to like and play sly 1 sly 2 and sly 3 that are on ps vita and did play the two games on my old ps2. 

Ratchet and Clank

Ratchet and Clank was one of those games i use to play with on ps2 with my cousin and play at their house or my other cousin house this was back in 2006-2008 which i remember still and really like ratchet and clank a lot cause it was the first game and going commando and maybe the third game if i can recall and would play the 2016 game that was reimagine of the 2002 game it was market for the movie that was coming out and didn't really like it. But anyways. 

Spyro the Dragon

Well this one gets pretty much confusing around if Spyro is the same character from before eh who knows but anyways on my ps1 that i used to have and spyro i look forward playing it on my ps4 or ps5 when i get one. 

Ty the Tasmania tiger 

Ty the tasmanian tiger was those games that i remember playing it was somewhere in 2005 or 2006. Set in a Australian island it ty the main character as he searches for "Thunder Eggs" to power a machine to locate five scattered talismans and free his family, who are trapped in an alternate realm known as "The Dreaming" by the series antagonist Boss Cass, a cassowary plotting world domination. There was the gameplay of it that my cousin and i took turns it was a invasion level with a jail breakout plus a mecha suit and the villain escaping after that there was the sewers levels that i remember when i was writing this down. Ty the tasmanian tiger was those games that i never forgot playing and since it is on ps4 maybe i'll look for it and play the game for some old times. 

Crash Bandicoot 

We all know of Crash Banndicott that was a cray character spins around and doesn't really talk but i didn't know that when i use to play around the game and give me a lot of memories. 

And that was my favorite games of ps2 there might be more coming to talk about or update in case as of writing this down, obivious remember these games that i play on my ps2 give me a lot of memories playing these games with my friends and cousins. 

Bing Bunny (TV Show)

Just last month i watch a show call Bing Bunny for those who are common or not aware or have never seen the show if you live elsewhere. Bing follows the main protagonist a preschool bunny who is goes through everyday issues and caretaker helps him out with it that his carer flop. He has his friends with him that they explore around and have their playtime. 

The show is based on the books by ted dewan and was adapted for the show around june 9 2014 Acamar Films got the rights of the show and Brown Bag Films and Tandem Films. The show would aired for CBeebies and couple of years later would aired in US. I would happen to see the show around june and july and i find the show to be pretty good heard some folks didn't like it but what do i know but i find the show nice and this was airing in the uk before coming to the states what do i know however watching this show made me feel smile or shred a tear. 

Remember Tron 3 Fan made Trailer

I came across this video back either in 2012 or 2013 it was right around tron uprising and two or three years since tron legacy was released talks of tron 3 was being discussed and of course script stages from the director of tron legacy and quite overall there was a fan made trailer for tron 3 a purpose idea for it without disney involved and i won't give out the plot of it but this was release around 2011 acting as a concept trailer but does bring back a fan made character and i was impressed by it and the style of it along with the music too that looks pretty enjoyable and how daft punk would have done tron 3. With the upcoming tron movie release for 2025 time will tell. 

Aiden Cunningham

 

Hey all it looks like everything is moving quicker than usual and this is aiden stuart cunningham, Timmy's 10 year old brother and brother to Danielle and Olivia Ellie Cunningham. Little is much about Aiden although he does look up to his brother his personality is mostly like Timmy's but isn't into much of science chemistry mechanic engineering rather play sports and anchery that he wants to try out one day. Aiden is quiet eager and responsible too even has to handle his younger siblings. 

With one more left to go i'm looking forward to the series becoming a reality. 

Don't really play any online games

Ever since i was 5 years old i use to play video games and my first console was playstation 2 and would go to play it until it stop working in 2012 and play xbox that i got on my 12 birthday and play the console from 2012 to 2016 where i move to play playstation 4 cause i happen to be a playstation kid and would play online where mostly it'll succend or bad which i try my best and not throw in arguments which was the worst part that being on overwatch that i really didn't like facing and would play tf2 on my laptop. Later on i would slowly but surely move on from playing online mulitplayer cause it's either hard for me or that the players would win or i stop playing. I don't lnow this may feel random but i stop playing it cause overwatch 2 has gotten bad i can't play tf2 on my computer or laptop and need a gaming laptop or computer who knows but i may online multiplayer only with friends or on my own somehow but overall i just take a break from it. 

Sodor: The Dark Times

Back in 2009 i stumble across a video made by Richard Jordan aka Skarloey123 that made a video series call Sodor Dark Times this change the fandom of Thomas the Tank Engine where it takes the story very seriously and mature that is different from the show after the video conclusion other thomas youtubers would take inspirations from it and do their own mature thomas series. 

If you want the story i'll explain. 

The story opens with Henry taking a goods train to knapford only to feel unwell and ask james to take it but doesn't and henry would stop after his smokebox burst. Edward and Percy arrive but percy takes the trucks from henry only to realize that henry is gone after thomas tells him that which edward takes percy away gordon tells thomas to let henry rest in peace that moment is still in my mind. 

Alfred appeared in the next video and would have been the number 3 but gordon however didn't get along with him. He would receive a nightmare where alfred killed henry only for the others to dismissed gordon's accusation however it wouldn't been until gordon spotted alfred at knapford station talking with another engine as they plan to kill the engines and use of gunpowder and explosives, next day gordon and alfred took a passenger train to vicarstown. Alfred would find out that gordon discover him and his plan after he mention about henry and alfred's previous number who was sent away and alfred plan to bomb across the north western railway unsuccesful to stop him and a race back to save the others but gordon didn't save them. 

The Third video where it gotten pretty dark gordon would arrive at the station and see his friends killed from the explosion thomas james edward and percy all killed from it. Toby try to help gordon but couldn't help but feel bad too later on alfred killed another engine which push the two engines to stop alfred and made a journey to find and stop alfred. Toby stay behind and gordon went ahead to save his brothers and sacrifice himself and kill alfred and toby is now the last survivor of the railway the video ends with a picture of the north western railway engines and gordon being call a hero. The series was different from any other thomas fan series that was being made at the time and would serve as a inspiration for those to make their own thomas trainz series. I recall seeing skarloey123 work around the summer of 2009 and the it never left my mind and was amazed but mostly shocked of how the series change the thomas fandom sure there's been two oher darker thomas series that gotten made and was different from the show and books sure there was season 5 of the series and known for it's spooky darker season but with fog explosive landside avalauche flood boudler etc. But it did had brighter moments and i guess sodor dark times was inspired by season 5 but without sdt there would be no darker take on thomas the tank engine whatever or not you like it. 

Trainz 19

After some time later and had thoughts about Trainz 19 after thomas youtubers use trainz 19 in their videos i couldn't help but want to buy it for myself and uninstall some games on my computer that is not a gaming on but i will plan to get one around this year or next year. The game is fun and try thomas models and download the rolling stock and trains did a little here and there even taking a ride on them. To be honest i really have fun playing the gmae i always want to play trainz when i was 12 years old and try to play after seeing wildnorwester sodor the early years and modern years that i recommend watching. 

But the game does have some problems and try to get the game to run smoothing but you know how computer can get lagging and check around to see if its okay but i do need a gaming pc or gaming laptop where i can play my other pc games and rollar coaster. I look playing the game and gives me memories of playing games on my old computer when i was little. 

Spider Man 2 PS5 (Sequel)

 

So this may sound crazy but wow was this trailer got me and my friend excited and to be honest i am looking forward seeing Spider Man 2 on PS5 now that i'm likely gonna get around this year or my birthday the story takes inspiration from the symbiote storyline (Earth 616 and 1610) Plus there has been changes to the game itself too with the character faces being different than before but i'm not gonna talk much about it. But i really like the trailer so much and seeing Spider Man in his symbiote suit looks awesome and i get to know why they didn't included it in the first game the suit itself. The game brings in how Peter has change and is not himself which is concerning his friends and everyone around him miles and Mj has to help peter before he loses his mind meanwhile harry has been fighting cancer and was kept away in a tank to recover but venom symbiote has bonded with him which was reveal and boy did it exploded in a positive way. 

I am hype for this game and look forward playing the ps5 when i get it around my birthday. 

The Rise and Fall of Ultimate Marvel

It's been interesting but very much looking back at the early 2000s whenever it's the movies shows places we remember as kids video games and books you name it but there's one universe that Marvel reimagined before that was a realistic take on the characters which was Spider-Man Iron Man X men Fantastic Four Avengers you name it before it went downhill. 

The Universe was written by different writers so let's begin this topic shall we. 

Background 

In the late 1990s, the US comic book industry had declining sales. Annual combined sales from all publishers, which had been close to a billion dollars in 1993, had declined to 270 million. The bubble that held comic books as valuable collectible items burst. In addition, the poor reception of the Batman & Robin film cast doubts on the prospects of any other comic book cinematic adaption. Marvel Comics went through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy, many notable artists left the company, and their rival, DC Comics, topped them in sales.Marvel Comics realized that they need to do something and decided to do heroes reborn and spider man chapter one as a fresh start for a potential universe but they didn't work out instead they had to figure out another idea Brain Michael Benids was approach to write and decided to do his work on Spider Man after Quesada hired him from his indie comic books he thought of teenager heroes, most of the characters were often adults or teenagers the younger adult audience had changed when the release of the matrix. Although X men and Spider-Man are teenagers cause most the heroes were adults and begin discussing the idea with the writers on board. 

Ultimate Marvel Beginnings 

While the imprint of the story of being made Bill James and discussing it with Wizard Magazine and discussing what could be the problem that the readers over the fact it was gonna be seen as a reboot and they know who the characters are instead they decided to try on Ultimate Spider Man and how he start his career as a teenager. They would later try the other characters too. It was than that Brian Michael Bendis was hired by Quesada who did a modern setting for Spider Man and did a narration style he thought of a rewrite on Amazing Fantasy #15 comic (the debut of Spider-Man), in a modern setting. Bendis preferred to avoid that writing style completely. Instead, he changed the narration style, so that it resembled a TV series more than a classic superhero comic book. There were no thought bubbles or long expositions, and the first issue did not feature any superhero costume. The art was created by Mark Bagley, known for his work on Spider-Man and Venom stories in the 1990s. The Bendis/Bagley partnership of 111 consecutive issues made their partnership one of the longest in American comic book history, and the longest run by a Marvel creative team, beating out Stan Lee and Jack Kirby on Fantastic Four

Golden Age 

With the success of Ultimate Spider-Man comics this allow marvel to do their take on Avengers X Men Fantastic four between 2001 and 2004 Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Millar would write Ultimate X men Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimates. They were really at the peak of the ultmate universe didn't need to worry about earth 616 this was the take that would re-imagine the characters and tell their own stories. But Mark had some issues with x men lore mainly he wasn't familiar with it which i don't blame him. Fantastic Four were re-imagined as teenagers and the avengers were call the ultimates. Iron man was a alcholic Captain America has a rash soldierly personality, Hulk was written as a murderous and cannibalistic monster that kills hundreds of civilians, and Thor was ambiguously introduced as either an actual Norse god (as in the main comics) or a man with stolen weapons and a psychiatric disorder. Nick Fury, originally a caucasian character in the Marvel-616 Universe, was modeled after the actor Samuel L. Jackson, and the new design eventually overshadowed the original one, being incorporated into the mainstream Marvel-616 universe and all new media adaptions of the characters. Brian would fixed the clone saga with issue 107 after fans backlash towards the 90s clone saga wasn't received he would write the symbiote arc that took inspirations from earth 616 symbiote storyline and have eddie brock and peter parker know each other when their dads work together before the plane crash. Daredevil Dr Strange and other characters were brought in and their backstories were different than before. It seems that between 2002-2007 was the golden age of ultimate marvel imagine that today not just that ultimate spider man was enjoying a success in comic book sales and this is where things took it's fate. 

Fall 

Unfortuntely things don't lasted longer behind the scenes at Marvel things weren't too good as Jeph Loep was hired after Bill Jemas was fired and ultimate iron man was received but wasn't really received and instead retcon and this is where the universe was changed ultimates 3 and ultimatum were published between 2008 and 2009 where the event took the worse and killed off the characters oh it also have scarlet witch and quicksilver in a relationship creepy. Now if you don't want to read this feel free to do so but if you want to stay and here more than by oh means. But if ultimates 3 got any weirder and badder scarlet witch is killed by a ultron andriod and the sex scandal between iron man and black widow that was distracting the ultimates. Magneto enraged by his daughter's death leaves to savage land and gets confronted by the utlimates. Hank pym under house areest however hank and his wife would discover the truth on ultron robot that has carried on the idenitiy of yellowjacket and use their teammates dna that duplicates use, hawkeye kills quicksilver and the plot was created none other than Doctor Doom. Yeah this plot was so bad that even the readers wonder why this was neccesary well if you happen to hear this or not, bill jemes was fired in 2004 millar and hitch left ultimate marvel and they decided to create a event that would be a final blow to the universe. If that's not bad enough ultimatum was where everything fall apart and if your favorite character survived or not than prepare for what's coming next, ultimatum kill off it's characters that was angel nightcrawler cyclops polaris emma frost wolverine magneto blob dr strange toad daredevil moon knight beast you name it all of those characters that the ultimate universe were all gone and the mutant gene wasn't born that the mutants would have instead a super soldier project that didn't work and quicksilver happens to be alive. 

This was a disaster for Ultimate Marvel and ultimate spider man managed to do well in sales but sadly the universe wasn't really same after 2009 the universe was relaunched in to Ultimate Comics but never really capture the golden age of ultimate marvel line as Spider man in this universe would be killed off and replace by miles morales and the universe was rarely around before it's end in 2015 call secret wars. 

Legacy 

To be honest when looking back at Ultimate Marvel it really seem like that they had some much potential and creating their own storytelling and didn't need to worry about retcons nor how earth 616 contiunity. I recall reading their comics around 2008-2009 this was around Ultimates 3 and Ultimatum but never got to read it after hearing how bad it is even ign highlight it that you heard before, i readed ultimate spider man comics they were part of my childhood and would readed them during my second year at high school it was after ultimatum and death of spider man comic. After secret wars in 2015 show the universe was over but still existed i thought that was the end of it both comics were mention in a top 10 worst marvel comics list which i recall watching back in september 2015, it would have been in that in 2018 i watch owen likes comics videos on the universe how it's rise and fall. They live through the golden age and seeing it gotten worse and ultimate spider man trying to live on and reaching 150 and peter parker dying until he was reveal to be alive. But they would be a inspiration towards the marvel cinematic universe their characters and storyline would be in marvel's shows and movies with their recent comic out maybe it could come back to it's golden age.
