Half Life

 I was 15 years old when I first picked up The Orange Box for my Xbox 360. I’d heard a little about Half-Life 2, but I didn’t really know what to expect. What I got was something way more immersive than I was used to—a game that threw me into the shoes of a silent scientist with a crowbar, fighting through a dystopian world filled with strange creatures, physics puzzles, and a story that felt like it had weight. The game was long, and at times I struggled to get through it, but something about the atmosphere stuck with me.

As I kept playing, I began to learn more about the wider Half-Life universe. I started seeing the memes—the ones asking, “Where’s Half-Life 3?”—and realized there was a whole community that had been waiting for years. I heard the theories, the speculation, the countless forum posts dissecting every detail of Episode Two’s ending. I hadn’t played the earlier games on PC yet, but I was fascinated by how obsessed people were with the mystery. It felt like a pop culture ghost story.

Eventually, the silence from Valve grew louder than any rumor. No news, no updates—just nothing. Life moved on. New consoles came and went, new franchises rose up, and Half-Life became one of those legends people still talked about, but no longer expected to return.

Then came 2020. During the pandemic, I found myself with more time and ended up booting up the original Half-Life on my computer. I didn’t finish it, but it reminded me of the roots of the series—the quiet, eerie corridors of Black Mesa and that sense of being completely alone in something much bigger than myself. That same year, Half-Life: Alyx dropped for VR. I didn’t have a headset, so I didn’t play it, but I followed the story and watched some playthroughs. It was beautiful and intense, and for the first time in years, it felt like Valve hadn’t forgotten about Half-Life after all.

And now, in 2025, the rumors have returned—louder, more credible, and harder to ignore. Whispers of Half-Life 3 being in development, and maybe even releasing this year, have reignited something in me. The same feeling I had at 15, when I first stepped into City 17, is coming back. I don’t know if the game will live up to the hype, or if it’ll even be called Half-Life 3—but maybe that’s not the point. Maybe the point is that I get to suit up one more time, grab my crowbar, and head back into the fight.

Whatever comes next, I’m ready for it.

My first ever Spider Man ps4 Platinum Trophy

I never got an platinum trophy from any of the games I've achieve or rather an achievement hunter and got my first ever from spider man ps4 and after beating each challenge to go through and watching the videos of how to get them and followed them every carefully I did it. Now is left is Ultimate and Responsiblity, Ulitmate is said to be the hard wonder why they forgot one of the levels aside ah well. But I'm on Responsibility and later on ultimate and see how that'll goes if I can try my best. 

Next up is Sly 2. 

 

Sly 3 But if it came out in 2007 meme

Finish playing sly 3 honor among thieves and got this video and thought of doing an if it came out in 2007 that tons of people have made on each movie show and game which was from the inspirations from Transformers and i decided to make my own. I am gonna do sly 2 as well maybe assassin's creed too we'll see this was fun to make hope to make more views at a time regardless of my content. 

 

Sly 2 and 3 is now on ps4 and ps5

 I'm not kidding it's finally here sly 2 band of thieves and honor among thieves is on ps4 and ps5 you should definity go download it or buy it, yet i find the game to be quite entertaining and really do like it i'll have to admit it and playing these two games gives me flashbacks of my childhood playing at my home or basement or my cousin's basement which was pretty fun back than right around 2005 or 2006, yet i remember buying it on ps2 at zellers, ah fun times even the basement. So far i'm on episode 2 with rajan and gonna buy the game later on as i possibitiy can and sly 3 don't worry i'll play that too.

Feels good. 

I got destiny 2 and wish i play the first one

I Order myself destiny 2 from amazon and play the game and after waiting for content and start playing and haven't play much of it and will play more of it later next week when i finish my job and give my thoughts on it and miss cayde 6 who was killed off and the main story is gone instead it's season after season and wish i got the first one cause it has cayde 6. Better luck next time. 

 

Venture (Overwatch) But too much characters

Urg venture is here and i'm suppose to pretend that i care about it but seriously how many times are characters in overwatch are gonna keep being added in the game little to do with the story some don't. It's starting to get super annoying like let me see.

Okay some like brigette ashe and ramattra were okay but looking at Overwatch wiki they have little to do with the story or involve in the main story or interacting with the characters that were in the game at the start. Sure some have stories but don't really make sense in the game aside not to mention the gameplay after seeing and trying yeah training if they are available or have to buy them if i have enough. I feel like getting tired of blizzard adding in too many characters like how are they gonna fit in the story when the story mission is made or better yet announced the stories of their adventure or involve, another thing is that how these characters are so powerful and can't be taken down when facing two sides and with more and more characters that are gonna be announced good grief just quit adding so many characters and trying to be better than tf2. 

I plan to talk about one character that i can't stand. 

Half-Life's Extraordinary Lost Episode | Epistle 3 | Full Half-Life Lore

I haven't talk much of Half life or any other value games before in my life well I did play tf2 before and the orange box between the xbox 360 and PC which I need a gaming laptop. But I remember talking to my friends about the infamous half life episode 3 or half life 3 that never came out and ask myself what was the story gonna be about after episode 2 now from what I remember before it was suppose to come out in 2007 but got push back and later never release until details of what the story could have been about and accorded to one of the writers of the episode give us of what happened and how it would have ended and found this video that talk about the lore of half life and portal, check this out. 

Happy 6th anniversary to Spider Man PS4

I knew this day would come but now it's official happy 6th anniversary to Marvel's Spider Man that was release on PS4 and what can i say about the game so awesome and cool and remember the day of getting it when i arrive at my game shop and brought it and play all day and week. Yet the greatest spider man game and still am to this very day. 

As for spider man 2 for the ps5 well let's hope for it and i do plan to do something for the two games. 

The issues with Assassin's Creed

I never really talk much about Assassin's Creed but i know that i have spoken about the problems with some friends of mine and now that it's been 15 years after the first one was released and i guess it's a miracle. Ever since i got into Assassin's Creed when i was 13 years old after graduating and my life took on a path i came across Assassin's Creed wanting to know about it and the games that i use to play which was Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and later on in December 2013 i got to play Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag later on The ezio trilogy Kenway sage Rogue included and 3 even Unity it was when i got into history learning of the renaissance french revolution the seven years war american revolution industrial revolution ancient egypt the rest goes on of the events that i got into which i discover of and didn't mind and would learn about historical events and figures as i enter my teen years but around 2016 i took a break from the games and the franchise still play the games if not finding it boring well if i play the missions etc. Or play on free roam you name it however i would go back to the games in 2017 was i play the ezio collection unity and syndicate between Summer 2017 to Fall 2017 of July and November 2017. 

Later on i would get into the novels of the games expected for the first one or origins around 2018 but back in Christmas 2017 i did get to play Assassin's Creed Origins only for a bit but later in 2021 it was fun to play as well even exploring the background of the assassin brotherhood and templars. As i would get into the novels and the lore of assassin's creed a lot of people express their problems with the franchise regarding of the franchise like the killing off Desmond Miles How the modern story lacks of updating and always in the comics and no game set in modern era as fans of the game still don't want but some want it set in modern times like how uncharted watch dogs and lara craft are often set but explore of historical figures or events. 

The game still being produced by Ubisoft that made the game back in 2007 which was the first game set of the assassin-templar conflict set of thousand of years ago and the templars been playing the strings of behind close doors and responsible for it crazy i know but now in modern era 2012 and Desmond Miles is capture by Abstergo Industries who are run by templars and is caught in the conflict between the assassins and the templars, i'm not write about the story and the plot of the games but i'm sure you have readed it before but anyways with so many opporuntities that ubisoft have only to miss it a lot and never caring about the games or the fans only the money and not going into the other settings like Napolonical wars American Civil War World War 1 Japan China or other settings maybe around modern era which has been frustrating with and i can't even stress of how much patience or little patience i have with them and after in 2020 or 2021? some accusations regarding of female characters in the game itself or ubisoft which i'm not gonna get into feel free to research.

Modern-era setting is where mostly between sequences before you would interact with the people in modern era back and fourth you name it. The series demonstrated kind of cool but the animus is like vr setting that we have. But outside of the games is the modern-day setting first started in the first Assassin's Creed and would go on for the rest. 

Lately in Assassin's Creed we often heard of creative differences from the crew that are working on the project whenever they want to throw in an opportunity towards the gamers that they want but instead choose to ignore it and went on the opposite direction and not letting anyone like a co-director for changes right after the beta test and rush the game for release and didn't have time to fixed it yet everyone is having a hard time to have creatively only the director and executives who refuse to allow it whatever it's the maps and gameplay or any other ideas that they purpose on. I think that the series has a identity problem that they don't know what direction the series should try and not even taking risks only afraid and not wanting to piss off anybody they need to be responsible and take whatever risk if possible which is one of the problems that i have for the series even the narrative of the games, themselves is lackluster that they go backwards likely how the story is being handle of so call professionals who are overseeing the franchise and making sure everything is right on track aside from the troubles that have happen at Ubisoft. But regardless of the series and creativity that they have either try to find new ways to improve themselves or unsure of the moment. 

So now that the games are showing no signs of slowing down with the release of mirage coming this year and info of the game looking to be positive whatever or not it's a sign that ubisoft is changing we don't know or i don't know but with them release more games coming soon that i have spoken and saw back than let mirage be release and we can see for ourselves. 

Favorite Playstation games

I was playing my playstation vita where sly cooper was on mainly the collection than i was playing ratchet and clank onmy ps4 than that's where it hit me i remember other playstation games which was spyro the dragon ty the tasmania tiger and crash bandicoot thise games games were awesome on ps1 and ps2 when i was a kid oh man. 

Okay so i been trying to talk of ratchet and clank sly cooper and other games but with changes going on and scheduled other posts for this year or next year that i'm hoping to talk about and i couldn't help but talk of playstation games and had a connection to them. 

Sly Cooper 

You know this i got this game around 2006 after my cousin introduce the game to me when i was six years old and the name sly cooper stick in my mind and got the name from, slyarno which i really have to like and play sly 1 sly 2 and sly 3 that are on ps vita and did play the two games on my old ps2. 

Ratchet and Clank

Ratchet and Clank was one of those games i use to play with on ps2 with my cousin and play at their house or my other cousin house this was back in 2006-2008 which i remember still and really like ratchet and clank a lot cause it was the first game and going commando and maybe the third game if i can recall and would play the 2016 game that was reimagine of the 2002 game it was market for the movie that was coming out and didn't really like it. But anyways. 

Spyro the Dragon

Well this one gets pretty much confusing around if Spyro is the same character from before eh who knows but anyways on my ps1 that i used to have and spyro i look forward playing it on my ps4 or ps5 when i get one. 

Ty the Tasmania tiger 

Ty the tasmanian tiger was those games that i remember playing it was somewhere in 2005 or 2006. Set in a Australian island it ty the main character as he searches for "Thunder Eggs" to power a machine to locate five scattered talismans and free his family, who are trapped in an alternate realm known as "The Dreaming" by the series antagonist Boss Cass, a cassowary plotting world domination. There was the gameplay of it that my cousin and i took turns it was a invasion level with a jail breakout plus a mecha suit and the villain escaping after that there was the sewers levels that i remember when i was writing this down. Ty the tasmanian tiger was those games that i never forgot playing and since it is on ps4 maybe i'll look for it and play the game for some old times. 

Crash Bandicoot 

We all know of Crash Banndicott that was a cray character spins around and doesn't really talk but i didn't know that when i use to play around the game and give me a lot of memories. 

And that was my favorite games of ps2 there might be more coming to talk about or update in case as of writing this down, obivious remember these games that i play on my ps2 give me a lot of memories playing these games with my friends and cousins. 

Don't really play any online games

Ever since i was 5 years old i use to play video games and my first console was playstation 2 and would go to play it until it stop working in 2012 and play xbox that i got on my 12 birthday and play the console from 2012 to 2016 where i move to play playstation 4 cause i happen to be a playstation kid and would play online where mostly it'll succend or bad which i try my best and not throw in arguments which was the worst part that being on overwatch that i really didn't like facing and would play tf2 on my laptop. Later on i would slowly but surely move on from playing online mulitplayer cause it's either hard for me or that the players would win or i stop playing. I don't lnow this may feel random but i stop playing it cause overwatch 2 has gotten bad i can't play tf2 on my computer or laptop and need a gaming laptop or computer who knows but i may online multiplayer only with friends or on my own somehow but overall i just take a break from it. 

Trainz 19

After some time later and had thoughts about Trainz 19 after thomas youtubers use trainz 19 in their videos i couldn't help but want to buy it for myself and uninstall some games on my computer that is not a gaming on but i will plan to get one around this year or next year. The game is fun and try thomas models and download the rolling stock and trains did a little here and there even taking a ride on them. To be honest i really have fun playing the gmae i always want to play trainz when i was 12 years old and try to play after seeing wildnorwester sodor the early years and modern years that i recommend watching. 

But the game does have some problems and try to get the game to run smoothing but you know how computer can get lagging and check around to see if its okay but i do need a gaming pc or gaming laptop where i can play my other pc games and rollar coaster. I look playing the game and gives me memories of playing games on my old computer when i was little.
