*Note this is just a story based on the disaster and fiction*
On the 28 of December 1879 an passenger train on Edinburgh-Dundee Line a violent storm between 10-11 on the beaufort scale. The engine taken 5 passenger vans an a luggage van. The engine left and on it's way to the bridge little did anyone know the bridge would soon fall down. The bridge was designed by Sir Thomas Bouch but it was poorly designed and the bridge's collapse was cause by lattice piers cast iron columns and wrought iron cross-bracing.
After the bridge's collapse and it's rebuilt years would go by and but drivers and firemans refused to drive the engine that was recovered. One night around midnight a signalman alone was alone on duty patrol. Believe to be some time ago after the disaster and would hear voices and the sound of the engine coming by and hearing the sounds of the bridge come crashing down and the voices of the passengers screaming for their lives and the wave violent smashing. The signalman confused by all of this would tell his co-workers of the spirits tells him that the bridge possessed the spirts and maybe are to reach the other side but never have.
