In common times we have these times that when we come across a writer or director who gets mad at people online for the a franchise failing which is not true and when we see a studio that take advantage from some shippers (pyscho and creepy) yet they never call out them out i guess staying to stay on their good graces or maybe just using them as a tool. But i'm not here for that and i want to talk about how writers should take common sense yet constructive criticism which whenever a fan highlight the show's problems and ignore the story and want to focus on the ship itself that just gets out of control online while the writers being lunatics as they are with them.
A writer should accept the criticism of the show and look at the problem that they shouldn't be afraid and choose to ignore the problems and pretend it's fine, a writer can improve with the help of expert or soon to be writers themselves and dealing with criticism take time if they are being a freelancer, they should write down notes listen consider the source think big pay attention to what the people want embrace it and don't take it personally plus wait as well cause these are the strategies that the writer can do than just being on twitter or social media. I got this from writermag and paste the link on this post so feel free to look on it. Why not use a journal when watching tv and write down notes of what the characters say or do challenge yourself with twists and turns of what may happen to them. These things take time, and if you were to write a manuscript, preserve, and shave off the bits and pieces of it and if you were to write good dialogue that it gets interesting and it's being wonderful and focus on your strengths. I often want to listen and wait from a response if i'm working with someone on a project and writing down is something that i just do all the time and feeling like that it can help me while working a series or a movie even keep it together not mess up or a terrible story that gets in the way and people praise it to be online while behind close doors not everyone is impressed by it.
Actually here's a few that i found, highlight read through the critique ask a editor to clarify remember the benefits and understand the motivation and perception of your criticizer.
Be a good listener when you are hearing feedback from the person that is giving you their criticism just say thank you and Ask questions to deconstruct the feedback and share your perspective. These are the easy tips when you are doing your work and not pandering either but care for the plot characters and fans too.
Are you a writer looking for help or criticism so you can improve check out this link here and it can help you along the way.
