Yep, it's 30 years since Jurassic Park came out and wow a lot of people are looking at it. But hey what else to say about the movie well let's talk about it. But first a little heads-up about the novel itself written by Michael Crichton.
Novel
So for those who don't know or aware of it. The film is based on a novel from Michael Crichton this novel wasn't your typical dinosaur book that we know and love. It was written in 1990 This novel was horror science fiction cause it was a cautionary tale about genetic engineering and it presents the collapse of a zoological park showcasing genetically recreated dinosaurs to illustrate the mathematical concept of chaos theory and its real-world implications. But let's say that Crichton was going to tell this story from a view of a child but had to change the draft and tell the story of a dinosaur theme park on a fictional island call Isla Nublar but the novel would have some characters killed and John Hammond also died in the novel too pretty mess up. He utilized the presentation of fiction as fact and has Chao's theory and the philosophical implications used. When the movie was being made however it was requested that Steven Spielberg that the movie be change for kids cause kids like dinosaurs and tone it down but the scenes does have it's parts that scared us.
Story
The film open with a velociraptor being carge up in a steel-like box being transported into their padlock but one of the crew members would be killed from the raptors and later in the movie we meet paleontologist Alan Grant and paleobotanist Ellie Sattler they would meet John Hammond as they are invited to Isla Nubular along with the ride is Ian Malcolm and they stumble across Brachiosaurus and a whole herd of other dinosaurs.They learned of the creation of cloning dinosaurs when visiting the vistor center and how they are created Alan sees a baby raptor and how dangerous could the park be even ian realized that too. Hammond's grandkids join the ride and the tour doesn't go well after the t rex failed to show up and see a sick triceratops and return back to the visitor center but dennis nerdy would shut down the park and steal the dinosaur embryo with a shaving cream can and the t rex shows up.
Now i won't go over about the movie development as we know that the film was going to use stop motion animation for the dinosaurs when looking at behind the scenes narrated by James Earl Jones and change to cgi from the likes of Terminator Judgement day and Abyes the dinosaurs were animated by Industrial Light & Magic, and with life-sized animatronic dinosaurs built by Stan Winston's team you look over the movie itself.
But i remember seeing this movie back in 2007 on a dvd even have the movie on vhs and later on saw the sequels. I had a great time seeing it. The soundtrack of the movie from John Williams is memorable that even i can't forget about it. The sequels i'll one day talk about them, as for the novel itself it's very much horror with one of the scenes like the t rex throwing a jp vehicle or the part with alan and raptors that one i heard is chilling.
